Bicol is the southernmost region of the biggest
island in the Philippines,Luzon. It is divided into
6 provinces namely Camarines Norte, Camarines
Sur,Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon and Masbate.
In the heart of Albay lies Mayon volcano,a cone
volcano. At the foot of Mt. Mayon Volcano lies
-shaped tragic fate of the one of the prosperou-
stowns in the Bicol which is called Cagsawa which
was buried during one of Mayon's ferusious erup-
tion (1814), which the belltower of the said
church in the centerof the town lies as the
grim reminder of the great volcanic eruption
of Mayon Volcano.
